Valentine's is Matilda's favourite holiday. Not so much because of the chocolates and flowers but more because it's all about LOVE. Matilda thinks LOVE makes the world go around. (It's not that she doesn't like chocolate and flowers by the way... she just eats too much chocolate on a daily basis and flower prices seem to be marked higher on Valentin'es Day!)
