Matilda is on her way to her new home. She is going to live with Deirdre Loughnane in her amazing needle arts store called Out of Hand in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In case you are wondering, Matilda is the bunny on the cover of my newest sewing pattern. I am a little sad to see her go but I know that Matilda will be in good hands with Deirdre. Besides, who wouldn't want to live inside a beautiful store stocked full of fabrics and needlecraft supplies. Sounds like heaven to me. Although Matilda had a hard time saying goodbye ( and her friends got a little choked up as you can see in the photo), Matilda assured them that they will not be forgotten.
